Personal Service
All our team members have previously held senior positions in ‘big name’ organizations, and strongly believe there is a better way to serve clients, that is both more effective for the client and more rewarding for the consultant. We are a small company, and you will deal day to day with the principals of the company as they will be working hands-on with your project. We don’t ‘cookie-cut’ solutions for a number of clients, so while it may take more effort on our part, we pride ourselves on getting to understand your business and tailoring a solution unique to your needs.
Diversity and Depth of Knowledge and Expereince
Our team members previously worked in senior positions in industry, government, research, and businesses- large and small, across a variety of geographies including Australia, Asia, and Europe. Since coming together as CCR we’ve helped businesses in sectors including energy, mining, resources, manufacturing, processing, infrastructure, construction, and urban development. We have also worked with local, state, and commonwealth governments in Australia, particularly around policy, energy efficiency, planning, infrastructure, and climate change risk and adaptation. If however we don’t have the particular skills required in-house, we have an extended network of partners we can call on to build the right team for the job.

We have experienced the business model that large consultancies work to and we are determined to be different. As a small company we are able to minimize overheads, so our project and hourly rates remain low compared to other similarly qualified companies offering the same quality of services. The success of our business has been based on building long-term relationships with clients who value the quality work we have done for them and return to use our services time and again. They do this because we only provide appropriate and cost-effective services that our clients require, without unnecessary padding, trying to lock them into proprietary systems, or up-selling services they don’t need.
Technical Depth
We believe a consultant needs to have a background in science and technology in order to provide clients with practical solutions rather than just ideas and generalizations. All our team members are technologists by training – engineers, physicists, scientists, and have experience applying this in the industry before moving into the world of business and consultancy. Our clients include companies from the process, chemicals, and energy industries, where we have to master complex processes in order to deliver effective solutions. We also have a range of industry specialists to call upon from our extended network should technical expertise be required in a specific industry or process.

As a small company, we have the flexibility to work the way you like or need – be that a standard external consultancy arrangement, as one of a team of sub-contractors, or we can embed our staff to work within your offices using your internal systems.
